Anna J. Maigret, 103, passed away Saturday, May 28, 2022, at Valerie Manor, Torrington. She was the beloved wife of the late Bernard G. Maigret. Mrs. Maigret was born in Torrington on February 15, 1919, daughter of the late Leon and Anna (Reine) Wintz, and had been a Harwinton resident since 1953. She was a communicant of Immaculate Heart of
Mary Church, Harwinton and a member of the Harwinton Westside Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary. Mrs. Maigret enjoyed sewing, taking care of her home, and was an accomplished pianist who enjoyed playing daily. Survivors include a son, James L. Maigret and his wife, Susan, of Harwinton; a daughter, Marilyn D. Jones of Torrington; four grandchildren, Jennifer Maigret, Christopher Jones, Alison Babeu, and Lauren McKinlay; six great-grandchildren, Kayla McKinlay, Sadie McKinlay, Iain Babeu, Gabriel Babeu, Benjamin
Jones, and Ava Jones; and several nieces and nephews. Mrs.Maigret was predeceased by twodaughters, Doreen Maigret and Christine Maigret.Funeral services and burial will
be held privately. Gleeson-RyanFuneral Home, Torrington, is incare of arrangements.
